Once you've successfully downloaded and installed SubLab, here's how to launch it inside FL Studio.
1. Add SubLab to a MIDI Track in FL Studio. There are various ways, but a common one is to click the Add New Channel button on a Channel Rack.
You can also use Add on the top bar.
2. Now, select SubLab from the next window. If you do not see SubLab listed, click More Plugins.
❌ If you still do not see SubLab listed as a plug-in, please proceed to the troubleshooting section below.
3. When opening SubLab for the first time, a window will prompt you to add your Activation Code. Please Copy & Paste it from your browser. You can find your Activation Code in your FAW Account, or from wherever you made your purchase.
4. Done! SubLab is ready to go.
❌ Don't see SubLab listed as a plug-in? Please follow these steps.
1. Verify installation by checking the program files.
If properly installed, SubLab's files should be in one of following locations:
macOS: .../Library/ApplicationSupport/FAW/SubLab
PC: C:/ProgramFiles/FAW/SubLab
And at least one of the following:
macOS: .../Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/SubLab.component
macOS: .../Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/SubLab.vst
macOS: .../Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/SubLab.vst3
PC: C:/Program Files/VSTPlugins
PC: C:/Program Files/Common Files\VST3
PC: C:/Program Files (x86)/VSTPlugins
2. If you find SubLab in at least two of these locations, please restart your computer, relaunch FL Studio, and see if the issue is resolved.
If you don't find the SubLab files in at least two of those locations, please repeat the installation process.
3. Now, go to Options>Manage plugins and click Find more plugins.
SubLab will hopefully now appear in the list on the right.
4. If SubLab still does not appear, you may need to show the Plugin Manager where to search for SubLab. You can add new Plugin search paths with the folder+ icon shown below. Then, a browser will pop up and you can navigate to the filepaths listed above.
