Once you've successfully downloaded and installed SubLab, here's how to launch it inside Logic Pro X.
1. Open SubLab on a Software Instrument Track via AU Instruments>FutureAudioWorkshop>SubLab>Mono or Stereo.
❌ If you do not see SubLab listed as an AU Instrument, please proceed to the troubleshooting section below.
2. When opening SubLab for the first time, a window will prompt you to add your Activation Code. Please Copy & Paste it from your browser. You can find your Activation Code in your FAW Account, or from wherever you made your purchase.
3. Done! SubLab is ready to go.
❌ Don't see SubLab listed as an AU Instrument? Please follow these steps.
1. Verify installation by checking the program files.
If properly installed, SubLab's files should be in the following locations:
.../Library/ApplicationSupport/FAW/SubLab
.../Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/SubLab.component
2. If you find SubLab in these two locations, please restart your computer, relaunch Logic Pro X, and see if the issue is resolved.
If you don't find the SubLab files in those two locations, please repeat the installation process.
3. Now, if you still do not see SubLab listed as an AU Instrument, perform a Plugin Rescan. Go to Preferences>Plug-in Manager.
4. In the Plug-in Manager window, click Reset & Rescan Selection.
❌ Still don't see SubLab listed as an AU Instrument? Please try to manually reset the Logic Pro X plug-ins cache like this.
1. In the Finder, press Option and choose Go > Library.
2. In the Finder window, go to Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache. Sometimes it can be called com.apple.audiounits.cache or something else.
3. Move the files from your AudioUnitCache folder to the Desktop.
4. Restart your computer, then open Logic Pro. All installed Audio Units plug-ins will be rescanned.
